According to wedding design genius, Meg Keene, the whole thing is actually pretty simple: Choose a variety of shades of a single color; paint the inside of each box and the inner base of each lid; and hang the boxes in dense clusters, creating greater separation as you move away from the center. If you need a more concrete plan, try arranging the boxes on the floor and drawing a rough map before moving the entire arrangement to the wall.
